One last message from Janet Hodge, Past President for SCACTE-Health Science Division

Wow, we had a great SCACTE meeting on Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn but I missed my buddies!  Hope you will be back soon!  Health Science always has such a great representation at the SCACTE meetings.

Hope you have made plans to attend our annual Professional Winter Conference!  It is the BEST conference you could possibly attend!  You will receive lots of great tips to carry back and incorporate in you classrooms to keep your students engaged in the work.  This is a great networking opportunity, too.

At the SCACTE meeting on Saturday, Kathy Bradford, stated that she attended our conference and was amazed at the conference information we received!  She encouraged any of the other officers to attend if possible.  THEREFORE, you do NOT want to miss this grand opportunity to HOOK yourself and come every year! 

Presently Health Science has 56 members and we are down by 12 members!  Help RECRUIT new and renewal members!  Ask your neighbors at school if they are members or email them!  Then encourage their participation by visiting the website or scacte.org or acte.org.  We receive liability insurance now as well as many other perks! 

Remember you must be a member to receive state or national awards and you must be a member for your students to receive any of the scholarships given through SCACTE!  Check the web again for requirements for these awards! 

Have a great year!  Join and help our voices heard through SCACTE and ACTE Health Science Divisions!  There is strength in numbers!
